We will have a limited number of tickets available for sale on the day of the event. To avoid disappointment, purchase tickets ahead of time.

Every effort will be made to give guests with disabilities the opportunity to participate and enjoy all aspects of the Fairgrounds Nashville. Handicap parking spaces are available and all vehicles with a State-issued placard or plate can park free of charge. For specific question regarding accessibility, please contact ashley@nashyarnfest.com.

We are putting together an exciting roster of speakers, demonstrations, meet-and-greets, special guests (of the human and livestock sort), and Nashville music. We may even break out into a square dance!

How can I sponsor Nash Yarn Fest?

We’d love to tell you all the ways! Please email sponsor@nashyarnfest.com for more information.

Who is Nash Yarn Fest for?

Everyone! NYF is a festival for people of the fiber world, the fiber curious, and beyond. We’re pretty sure if you enjoy making stuff, or have ever thought about making stuff, you’ll have a great time in the company of others who do too. We can’t wait to see you there!

Who is Modern Daily Knitting?

Founded by two passionate knitters, Ann Shayne and Kay Gardiner, Modern Daily Knitting (MDK) is a small business that does big things in the knitting world. Everything that we do is guided by one simple question: what would be fun for knitters? Answering that question has kept us busy for more than 20 years. Nash Yarn Fest is the realization of a dream we’ve had for a very long time for a bighearted gathering of knitters in our exciting and ever changing hometown, Nashville.

First and foremost, MDK is a daily online magazine for knitters, with a readership of hundreds of thousands of knitters all over the United States and the world. We publish something new for knitters every day of the year, featuring the sparkliest writers and designers. (Take a look at our Contributors page.)

MDK also publishes a series of small, delicious books called the MDK Field Guides, a showcase for excellence and imagination in knitwear design. MDK has a vibrant online shop, and hosts incredible workshops and retreats, at our headquarters in Nashville, online and elsewhere. All knitters are welcome in the MDK community, where there is never a shortage of inspiration, support, or joy.

Where can I find the vendor roster?

As vendors are accepted and sign up, they will be added to our vendor page

Is there a hotel block for Nash Yarn Fest? Where should I stay?

There was a hotel block at the Hilton Green Hills, however, that block is now sold out. You may still book a room outside of the block, as available, via their website.

If you’d prefer a livelier atmosphere closer to the action of the city, we love the Moxy Nashville Vanderbilt Area and the Hotel Bobby. We do not have blocks at these hotels, but recommend them as an option.

Please note Nashville has a lot of events during the weekend of Nash Yarn Fest, including the SEC Men’s College Basketball Tournament at the Bridgestone Arena. We recommend booking your stay as early as possible.

Will there be transportation between the Fairgrounds Nashville and the MDK Headquarters?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide transportation between the two locations. The Fairgrounds and MDK are easily accessible by car and less than 5 miles apart. To avoid parking complications we recommend carpooling and utilizing ride-share apps.

Does the Opening Night Party ticket come with a General Admission ticket?

All Nash Yarn Fest tickets are a la carte. If you would like to attend the Opening Night Party, General Admission on Saturday, or the NYF Afterparty, you will need to purchase tickets to all three.
